Never fear, this recipe is simple, easy and you can add in anything you like if you’re feeling adventurous!

These cupcakes are also super tasty and moist!

And you can’t forget the magical marijuana ingredient: Cannabis Butter.

Plus, for anyone who loves Nutella – we’ve got a killer frosting to go along with these weed cupcakes!

That’s right, these cupcakes are baked with cannabutter instead of butter. It’s not hard to make these at home and we will show you how.

Playing around with cannabutter is great.

You can also freeze it into ice cube trays and pull it out whenever you want to dose your baking or cooking.

A recipe on how to make cannabis butter at home. After many cannabutter recipes, we find that this is by far the best way to infuse weed with butter.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

Simple Weed Cupcake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • plain flour
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • eggs
  • sugar
  • cannabutter
  • milk
  • vanilla extract

If you want to use chocolate, go ahead! Just add in cacao powder. You can also make a yummy Nutella frosting. The sky is the limit Canna-Chefs!

Equipment

  • Muffin tin
  • Muffin Tin Liners
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 eggs room temp
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 tbsp cannabis butter
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanila extract
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder optional

Frosting

  • 1 cup Hazelnut Nutella
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3-4 tbsp cannabis butter more depending on the consistency you like.

Instructions

  •  In a bowl mix together the cannabis butter and sugar until it becomes creamy.  
    Next, add in milk and vanilla extract.
  • Mix well!
  • Add in the rest of the ingredients including cacao powder if you like, and mix on a low speed until combined.
  • Pour 2/3 of the way into your prepared muffin tin and bake at 375 F for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cupcake comes out clean.

Frosting

  • Beat Nutella and already-whipped, whipping cream together in a bowl until fully combined. Do not over beat.
  • Add in your cannabutter, and add a little more if needed to get the desired consistency of frosting you'd like!
  • Wait until the cupcakes are fully cooled before frosting. Enjoy!
