Method One: Melted Chocolate with Oil or Butter

Cannabutter Recipe
A recipe on how to make cannabis butter at home. After many cannabutter recipes, we find that this is by far the best way to infuse weed with butter.
Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
Cool down
Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes
If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter. The video guide might be slightly different than the blog recipe. The blog recipe is the most updated and accurate.
Grind up your cannabis. Anything small enough to fit through the strainer will end up in your finished product, so don't grind your cannabis too finely.
Combine oil and cannabis in your double-boiler, slow cooker, or saucepan and heat the two together on low or warm for a few hours.
Use a slow cooker on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally.OR, in a double-boiler on low for 8 hours, stirring occasionally; Adding small amounts of water can be added to the mixture to help avoid burning. Note: Temperature of the oil should not exceed 245°F.
Strain your oil BUT DO NOT SQUEEZE!If you squeeze the cheesecloth, it will add more chlorophyll to your oil.
Refrigerate up to a few weeks, and use in baking, cooking, and topically as well!
Last but not least: Method Three: Melted Chocolate Infused with Concentrates
For this method, you’ll use cannabis concentrates like FECO, Shatter, etc – but just one, and you get to choose!
Ready to get chocolate-y? Let’s start !
Chocolate with Cannabutter or Coconut Oil
When creating this method, the best way is lick every single spoon you use. Make sure you have a lot of chocolate so you don’t run out of test-tasting!
Fill the bottom portion of your doubleboiler with 1 cup of water. Add the top pan and place on the stove and bring to a simmer over med-low heat.
Once simmering, add chocolate.
Stir occaisionally until chocolate is fully melted.
If you’re using method one, stir in your butter or oil. If following method two, stir in your decarbed weed, and if you choose method three, stir in your cannabis concentrates.
Stir the chocolate mixture using whatever method you choose until everythin gis well combined. Once it’s all melted, turn off the heat and set aside.
If you’re planning on pouring the chocolate into molds, use a spoon or other utensil to help pour it in evenly and slowly. If you overfill it, just lick it off!
Gently tap the molds on the counter so you can release any air bubbles and set in the fridge for about 20 minutes or more.
You can store your chocolates in seal-tight containers in the fridge, and just make sure to properly label them or hide them if you have little ones in the house.
If you don’t plan on eating them all within the week ( which will be very hard not to do) then store them in a ziplock bag in the freezer for weeks!
