4 Quick Cannabis Edible Recipes

Making Marijuana Edibles at home can be time-consuming, but if you’re prepared you can be super successful at making 4 Quick Cannabis Edible Recipes.

Today’s article goes over ways to be more efficient in the kitchen and prepared so that you can create quick and easy edibles in a pinch.

You do have to have some items on hand, including obviously, weed!

Keep reading to get organized and ready for nothing but success in your Canna-Kitchen.

What Do You Need in The Kitchen?

You’re going to need a few key things to prepare and get ready for your edible extravaganza. (yes, that’s what we’re calling it!)

Here’s a handy list, just bookmark this page and refer to it often:

  • Cannabis Butter Moulds – you absolutely 100% need these. Silicone and easy to use, the weed butter will just slip right out.
  • Ice Cube Trays & Quality Wrap – you can create individual weed butter cups in ice cube trays, keep them frozen for weeks, and as long as they are covered you can pull them out and toss them into your stir-fries, cooking, dinners, and lunches.
  • Silicone Utensils -nothing is worse than when everything sticks to the spoons – so you need to invest in a proper set of anti-stick silicone utensils to make your life easier.
  • Parchment Paper & Cookie Sheets – decarbing is just something you’re going to have to accept as the most important step prior to making and eating edibles. It’s 100% necessary. Having parchment paper handy all of the time ensures you’re good to go when the mood strikes to make weed treats and it all starts in the oven first.

How Do I Make Weed Edibles?

We’ve covered what you need, and now we’re going to go over how to use your weed properly to make edibles.

Once you have this step perfected, you can store your decarbed weed in a seal tight container some dry and dark and it should last you a little while, so that you can easily create your treats quickly.

Decarboxylation

Decarbing your weed means popping it into the oven for 40 minutes at 240.

If you’re a new cannabis edible consumer, you may not know that eating dried or raw cannabis will provide little to no intoxicating effects whatsoever.

And if you’ve been a weed lover for a long time, but haven’t dabbled into edibles this is something you should know!

What the process of decarbing does is that it heats the flower, converting THCA (what the raw flower naturally contains) into THC – which is the intoxicating substance we all know and love!

Do I Have to Decarb Every Time?

Yes. Always yes.

Weed Edible Recipes

While it probably feels frustrating that you can’t just whip up a batch of cookies or brownies in 20 minutes – if you prepare as suggested above, and have everything ready in your kitchen you can easily set aside an hour or so weekly to do a little meal prepping.

Then, once you have it licked you can just take out your butter, oil, or favorite recipe and sub in your weed-infused products for a quick, and easy treat or meal!

1. Cannabis Oil

The one thing about oil is that if stored and sealed properly, it can last a very long time. This makes lunch or dinner recipes like salads or pasta really easy because you’ve already made the infusion, all you have to do is drizzle it on top! Easy.

4. Cannabis Butter

Much like all of the advice, tips and tricks in this article – you’ll have to think ahead a little and make double batches or just single batches of your infusions, store them or freeze them and just pop them out when you want to use them.

I love storing my butter in ice cube trays – that way, whenever I am cooking a meal I have a perfectly measured individual little cup of butter that’s ready to roll!
