If you’re looking for a healthy vegan snack that’s packed with health, you’re going to love making Red Lentil Tortillas With Cannabis Hummus.

Here’s the secret – you might think making tortillas require a lot of prep work and time, but there is only ONE ingredient! ONE!

I don’t kid around when it comes to making your canna-life easier.

First, we’re going to make red lentil tortillas from scratch, and then we’re going to whip up some cannabis hummus.

The hummus is vegan too! If you love pumpkin, you’ll want to try this recipe for pumpkin-hummus. OMG!

For those who aren’t vegan – don’t worry – you’ll love it. It’s savoury and scrumptious. Without a doubt! So many vegan recipes are!

If you don’t have any pre-made cannabis butter on hand, it will take a bit of prep and time (sorry!) but here’s the wonderfully magical thing about it – when you have it made, you can freeze it and whip it out whenever you need it.

This makes cannabis edible-making and baking fun, easy and stress-free!

How To Make Red Lentil Tortillas

At the same time, they are very high in fibre (7 grams per tortilla!), high in protein (6.5 grams per tortilla), and have iron too!

Ingredients and Measurements:

  • 1 cup (208 g) split or whole red lentils.
  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

The How-To

  1. Combine the rinsed lentils and water in a bowl and cover for 6-12 hours.
  2. Don’t drain them!
  3. Add the entire contents ( lentils AND water) into the food processor.
  4. The batter should look and appear fluffy.
  5. Next, heat a pan or non stick griddle to medium.
  6. Add a ladle of batter (about 1/4 cup) to the pan or griddle once it’s heated up.
  7. Spread the batter into a nice little circle.
  8. Cook about 1 – 1 1/2 minutes or until the tortilla appears dry then flip and do the same on the other side.
  9. Transfer to a cooling rack and keep going until all of your batter is used up and you have tortillas!

You can load it up with any kind of taco fav’s, or slap on some cannabis hummus for an on-the-go, or easy side-snack!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoon Cannabis Oil
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, halved 1
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth
  • Serve the Cannabis Infused Hummus
