Why buy CBD edibles when you can make them? All you need is some CBD oil or tincture.
Making your own CBD edibles is easy and fun. But not only that, you can also tinker with your dosage and customize those edibles uniquely for you. It’s just basic cooking, with a CBD-infused ingredient like oil, tincture or butter. Sound familiar? It’s exactly the same as making THC edibles, only CBD flower is used instead. In fact, you can substitute CBD for THC in any edible recipe that calls for cannabis oil.
You could opt for store-bought CBD oil when making your edibles, and it certainly works in a pinch. But why buy it when you can make your own? Making CBD oil at home is a very simple process.
How to Make CBD Oil
A simple recipe on how to make CBD oil at home using marijuana flower buds.
All you need is CBD bud, some oil and a touch of soy lecithin, and you’re already on your way to concocting your own CBD oil.
But Wait… What About CBD Tincture?
Not every edible recipe calls for CBD oil. Some require the use of CBD tincture. CBD lollipops are a prime example. So how is CBD tincture made? The process looks a bit different than CBD oil. You’ll still want to decarboxylate your CBD bud. But instead of infusing it into oil, you’ll be mixing it with a solvent — like alcohol.
Now that you’ve got yourself a batch of CBD oil or tincture (or both!), you’re ready to make some uplifting, anxiety-easing CBD treats. And we’ve got some classic, never-fail recipes of CBD edibles for you to choose from.
Note: Some of these recipes call for THC oil or tincture. Just substitute CBD in equal amounts.
