How To Make Cannabis Butter

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

The Recipe: Step By Step

I’ve made these over and over and they get better every time!

A great little tip is to double up on the recipe, and individually package up the finished squares.

Label them properly, and take them out about 30 minutes before you feel like snacking for an anytime-edible-treat!

I personally love to drizzle more chocolate on top of the squares – it just adds a little extra to them, but of course, this is entirely your choice.

If you really want to create an experience, add a hot cup of cannabis coffee or hot chocolate and sit back, enjoy the ride.

Please just be cautious of cross-fading when you consume various edibles -this includes alcohol and weed as well.

  • Parchment Paper
  • Blender or Bullet
  • small sauce pan

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cannabis Butter
  • 4 cups Crushed graham crackers
  • 2 cups Sweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cans Condensed milk

Instructions

  • Line the bottom of a 9 x 13" baking dish with parchment paper. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
  • Pour crushed graham cracker crumbs into a large bowl. Melt cannabis butter in small sauce pan on medium heat and then add to crumbs. Stir to combine until they begin to stick together then pour into prepared pan and flatten.
  • Pour coconut then the chocolate chips on top of crumbs to form two separate layers. Pour the sweetened condensed milk on top of chocolate chips and bake bars in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until caramelized.
    Cut into bars and gobble up!
