Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost here, and you’ll need to impress your guests with delicious snacks like our Easy Cranberry Cannabis Pistachio Cheese Log!

This cheese log looks super fancy, complicated and chic – but believe you me, it is a cinch to make!

The best cheese to use for this particular recipe is goat cheese. Just grab the biggest log you can find in your local grocery store.

Goat cheese is also called chevre (if you feel like being sassy) but the bottom line is that it has lesser lactose than cow’s milk cheese, and is packed with vitamins and digestible fats.

We really don’t give goats enough credit!


And for folks like me who can’t handle casein ( a protein found in cheese), I can enjoy goat cheese and feel great too!

Goat cheese is also known to be rich in vitamins and trace elements – essential for wellness, and lacking in most diets.

Adding Cannabis to Goat Cheese makes it loaded with wellness benefits, and gives your goat a delicious buzz!

How Do I use Cannabis in Goat Cheese?

Just make sure, if you don’t have any cannabutter on hand that you decarb your weed first, and then enjoy the fruits of your labor after.

Ready, set & assemble! This will take you minutes to make as long as you have your cannabutter ready to rock.

  • Wooden Plank or Charcuterie Board
  • Cheese knife/spreader
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Small spoon and fork


Cheese Log Coating

  • 1 1/4 cup fresh, whole cranberries
  • 1 cup shelled, roasted pistachio nuts
  • 2 tbsp cannabutter

Cheese Log

  • 1 goat cheese log
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp rosemary
  • 1 dash freshly ground pepper


  • Add the cranberries, pistachios and cannabutter to your food processor and chop into small pieces (just don't over-process). Remove ½ cup and add it to a medium bowl. Add all remaining ingredients to the bowl and stir to combine.
  • Add mixture to a large piece of plastic wrap, and form into the shape of a log. Wrap it up and place in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
  • Line counter with about a large piece parchment paper. Add all of your coating ingredients to the parchment paper, and spread into a rectangle a little bigger than the size you want your cheese log to be.
    Spread your goat cheese mixture overtop, and with the help of the parchment paper, roll and shape into a log. Sprinkle left over topping on top to finish it off.
  • When you are ready to serve, remove from refrigerator 15 minutes beforehand so it can soften. Drizzle generously with honey just before serving. Serve with crackers or cannabis crackers!
