Crockpot Loaded Pot & Potato Soup

When the weather changes, we just want comfort food so today we are making Crockpot Loaded Pot & Potato Soup.

It’s simple when it comes to using the crockpot. For so many recipes, you can just throw in all of your ingredients, carry on your day, and come home to a nice home-cooked meal.

For today’s meal creation, you’ll need to check your pantry for a few items, or head over to the grocery store.


Ingredients Needed:

  • Bag of frozen hashbrowns OR fresh potatoes cut into small cubes
  • A packet of ranch seasoning
  • Cream of chicken soup
  • Chicken broth
  • 1 brick of cream cheese
  • Cannabutter
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese you love)
  • Real bacon bits
  • Dried parsley
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper

How To Make Cannabis Butter

It’s not an edible if it doesn’t have weed in it!

Have you ever made cannabutter? If you have, then just keep scrolling down to the recipe, but if you haven’t, you’ll want to carefully follow the step-by-step instructions.

As always, I suggest doubling your batches, freezing and labelling them so that you can just pull out weed butter any old time you like!

This is entirely up to you.

A recipe on how to make cannabis butter at home. After many cannabutter recipes, we find that this is by far the best way to infuse weed with butter.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

  • Crockpot
  • Cutting Board
  • Sharp knife
  • Measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hashbrowns OR 5-6 medium potatoes potatoes should be cut into small cubes
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning
  • 5-6 tbsp Cannabis butter
  • 1 brick Cream cheese
  • 2 cans Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 box Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt & pepper each
  • 1 large package of shredded cheese any kind you like

Instructions

  • Turn the crockpot onto high and 6-8 hours.
  • Place all of your ingredients into the crock pot and mix so that hte hashbrowns or potatoes are fully covered.
  • Let everything slow simmer for 6-8 hours. Serve up immediately, sprinkle more shredded cheese on top or scallions, and enjoy!
