These elegant-looking canapes are out-of-this-world tasty! Today we’re making Whipped Ricotta Strawberry Cannabis Bites.

Paired with freshly baked banquettes, you’ll feel fancy like Applebees when you take your first bite!

The recipe today calls for cannabis oil, so if you haven’t made this before, here are step-by-step instructions so you can make your own at home.

How Do I Make Cannabis Oil?

Making cannabis oil for the first time might seem like a tedious process, but it really isn’t.

Just follow the steps, and once you’ve nailed it you can start whipping up large batches and use it with everything!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis
  • 1 Cup Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Decarb your herb by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C 45 minutes, and then let it cool down.
  • Grind your cannabis or chop it in chunks.
  • Place the cannabis buds in a strong mason jar, add olive oil and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • TIP: U can also add other herbs such as Thyme, rosemary etc for an extra flavor.
  • Strain through Cheesecloth.
  • Let it cool
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Oil to make edibles or to cook with the oil

  • Cookie Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Blender or food processor

Ingredients

  • 1 whole baguette cut into 1-inch thick slices
  • 1 pint strawberries
  • 1/4 cup cannabis oil plus 2 tbsp save 2 tbsp
  • 1/4 cup balsalmic reduction
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped basil
  • 1 1/2 cup ricotta
  • 3-4 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 360 F, slice baguettes and place them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Drizzled with cannabis oil. Place in oven for about 10-12 minutes tops – or until golden brown on the edges.
  • Place ricotta,2-3 garlic cloves,honey, juice of half a lemon, salt and pepper into the blender or processor, an2 tbsp more cannabis oil.
  • Mix until whipped. Should be fluffy.
  • Take 1 pint of strawberries and remove the tops. Slice them into thin slices.
  • Once your bread is toasted, spread ricotta mixture overtop each piece, top with strawberries, drizzle with balsalmic reduction, and sprinkle chopped basil over top.
