Strawberry & Weed Slab Pie

This Strawberry & Weed Slab Pie is a spin on fresh strawberry pie and is a fantastic dessert for any summer get-together, barbecue or potluck! 

It’s refreshing and sweet, and if you can get perfectly ripe strawberries in season you’re going to melt with every single bite.

How To Make Slab Pie:

  • Mix flour, sugar, salt and cannabis butter together until crumbly.
  • Press into an 18 x 12 -inch sheet pan and prick all over with a fork. Bake.
  • Add jello, sugar, cornstarch, salt and Sprite to a saucepan and bring to a boil and whisk until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and cool. Slice strawberries. Arrange over crust. Pour filling over strawberries.
  • Refrigerate until set.
  • Garnish with whipped topping or cannabis whipped cream!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

Strawberry lovers just can’t wait to make this slab cake recipe with cannabutter!

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CRUST:

  • 2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup cold cannabis butter, cut into cubes

FOR THE PIE:

  • 6 oz strawberry jello
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ⅓ cup cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 20 oz sprite (2 ½ cups)
  • 32 oz strawberries, washed and tops removed
  • Whipped topping or cannabis whipped cream for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, salt and butter together until crumbly.
  3. Press into an 18 x 12-inch sheet pan and prick all over with a fork.
  4. Bake 22-25 minutes or until light brown.
  5. Remove from oven and cool.
  6. Add jello, sugar, cornstarch, salt and Sprite to a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Bring to a boil and whisk until stir thickened.
  8. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  9. Slice strawberries.
  10. Arrange over crust.
  11. Pour filling over strawberries Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  12. Garnish with whipped topping.
