Pasta With Pancetta and Mushrooms

I’m always craving carbs, but I was getting tired of the same old thing, so I decided to make Pasta With Pancetta and Mushrooms.

I know for sure that any kind of bacon makes food better, but pancetta is my favourite.

Add cannabis butter, mushrooms, and seasoning and you’ve got a recipe for savoury success!

Not everyone has pancetta bacon readily available, or in the fridge, so you’ll have to take a trip to the store and don’t skimp on the quality or price if possible!

You’ll also need:

  • mushrooms
  • garlic
  • heavy cream
  • garlic
  • Italian seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese (fresh is best)
  • cannabutter (recipe below)

Weed butter pulls this dish from everyday regular to unbelievably delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

Equipment

  • Non stick frying pan
  • Pot to boil pasta
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • measuring cups & spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg pasta penne is a great choice
  • 3 oz package of pancetta bacon
  • 3 tbsp cannabutter
  • 10 oz package of fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup parmesan freshly grated

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, cook pancetta in a large skillet over medium heat until browned but not crispy, about 5 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
  • Pour pancetta grease out of the skillet, and add cannabutter. Increase heat to medium-high and stir in sliced mushrooms. Cook and stir until the mushrooms have softened and released their liquid. Add the minced garlic, and cook 2 more minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low, then stir in cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • To serve, toss the cooked penne with the sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
