Are you feeling stressed? Today we’re exploring: Marijuana Strains That May Help With Stress.

We’re all familiar with the feeling of stress, but not many people know the cause of it.

When you think of it, stress is a natural response to life’s changes and everyone has stress.

But as we’ve learned from modern research, too much or too long of a period of stress can be physically harmful to our bodies.

Not cool, right?

Stress-relieving solutions such as marijuana are now being more widely accepted by hospitals for patients suffering from anxiety or pain relief.

And what’s wonderful about this is that it comes without any psychoactive effects associated with opiates or opioids, which often turn out to be addictive.

Sativa vs Indica: What’s The Difference?

First, it’s important to understand the difference between Indica and Sativa strains of marijuana.

Sativa strains of marijuana are typically uplifting and may have you feeling creative.

Indica strains of marijuana are typically more sedative and may help you relax or sleep better.

In general, most people find Sativa strains to be more useful for daytime use while Indica strains can be used during the evening or at night.

There is no rule that says Sativa strains can only be used in the daytime and vice versa.

They’re just different types of marijuana, and when used appropriately, you’ll feel a range of effects that suit your needs.

Marijuana Strains That May Help With Stress

1.Panaka

Panaka is a rare hybrid strain of marijuana that’s a cross between an Indica and Sativa strain.

This unique strain is very high in CBD, which has been shown to relieve anxiety and paranoia without feeling “high” like you might with other strains.

A perfect combination of relieving symptoms of stress, without feeling a loss of control – which leads to anxiety!

You’ll love this strain and it can be used in many weed recipes.

2.Lemon Haze

Lemon Haze is a strain that has a sour and earthy lemon flavour followed by a sweet, yet uplifting high.

The high of Lemon Haze is so enjoyable that many people have trouble sleeping after using it.

3.Bubba Kush

Bubba Kush sort of feels like “a cup of coffee in the morning with double the effect.”

It’s an Indica-dominant hybrid, and its heavy sedative qualities make it useful for treating pain or tiredness from anxiety or depression without putting you to sleep.

4.Space Queen

This strain is a cross of two strains that are both Indica-dominant.

It has an earthy, citrus flavour, with a sweet aftertaste.

Remember Indica’s are generally night-time strains.

5.Blueberry

This hybrid strain has been described as having “the smell of fresh-cut blueberries” with a very strong blueberry flavour in addition to the usual Indica effects you’d expect from an Indica-dominant strain.

Using this in a delicious and decadent pot brownie recipe, as an evening snack might help reduce stress and pull in some relaxation.

6.Skywalker

This particular Sativa-dominant hybrid strain is said to have a very strong, cerebral high.

Its effects come on slowly and can last for hours, which makes Skywalker a great option for combatting stress and anxiety without exhausting you or making you feel tired.

7.Afghan Kush (Kush)

Afghan Kush is an Indica dominant strain that has been prized by users for its ability to leave them feeling relaxed and peaceful.

This strain still allows for the mental clarity necessary to complete tasks or deal with anxiety.

A winner in our books, and perfect in many weed edible recipes or just on it’s own as a calm and clarity inducer after a long day.
