How to Purchase Corn on the Cob?

  • Husks: bright green color (not brown/yellow/dry), tightly rolled
  • Kernels: bright yellow, plump, and tightly arranged in rows
  • Silk: soft, moist and golden (not brown/brittle), the more silk the better
  • Bottom (where it was broken off the stalk): if it’s already brown – it’s not fresh. Puff, puff, pass!
  • Don’t buy corn that has been out in the sun all day, and please try to buy corn from local farmers!

But this time, you’re going to get high, oh my! Nibble away until you start feeling tingly or chill and you’re belly, buds and mind will be zen.

Sounds corny, but it’s true!

Equipment

  • Instant Pot Pressure Cooker
  • Oven Mits
  • Corn on the Cob Handles ( if desired)

Ingredients

  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob
  • 1 cup Cannabutter
  • 1 pinch salt ( per ear of corn)
  • 1 pinch pepper (per ear of corn)

Instructions

  • Pressure Cook Corn on the Cob: Pour 1 cup of cold water in Instant Pot. Place a trivet in the Instant Pot, then place 4 ears of corn on the cob on the trivet.
  • Close the lid and Pressure Cook at High Pressure for 1 – 2 minutes + Quick Release. Open the lid carefully.
  • Serve: Serve immediately with Cannabutter and salt & pepper
