This is likely not what you were expecting. We’re dosing this celebratory beverage with cannabis infused vodka. This is because this beverage is not your everyday mimosa. In fact, our mimosa recipe calls for banana liqueur for more flavor and fun.

It is worthy of note that cannabis infused vodka will take a few days to process. The infusion itself is easy to make, but it needs to rest before use. Be sure to plan your cannabis drink accordingly.

If you are not a fan of orange juice, feel free to swap this out for another varietal like pineapple or peach. Furthermore, we rim our glasses with sugar. How to make Weed Mimosas For New Year’s Eve

• 1/8 Ounce (3.5 Gram) Cannabis
• A bottle of Vodka
• Strawberries for decoration

Method

 

1. Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil. Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 30 till 40 minutes, and then let it cool.
2. Crush up the cannabis in smaller chunks, and place in a pantyhose or cheesecloth and tie it up.
3. Place the cannabis, wrapped in pantyhose/cheesecloth, in the bottle of Vodka and let it infuse for 24 hours minimum.
4. Juice 4 oranges and refrigerate
5. In 2 separate small bowls, place sugar in 1 bowl, and banana liqueur in the other. This is just to rim the glasses for decoration.
6. Rim them with first banana liqueur and than sugar and keep the glasses aside and ready for serving.
7. Pour orange juice till half of the Champagne glass is full.
8. Add about a small tablespoon cannabis vodka in each glass.
9. Add champagne until glass is almost full.
10. Top with banana liqueur
