Cannabis capsules are very easy to create and an efficient way to dose cannabinoids. In this recipe we will show you how to make canna-caps with either CBD oil or a full plant cannabis tincture.
Filling empty capsules with cannabis oil is an easy way to dose your daily intake of cannabinoids. Easily create these weed capsules ahead of time that tale very little effort to make.
In addition, cannabis capsules boast another exciting quality. Their taste is almost undetectable! Therefore, you don’t have to worry about the earthy taste that canna oil has. This is perfect for anyone who doesn’t like the flavor of a CBD tincture.
Dosing CBD capsules or full plant cannabis-caps is relatively easy. Empty capsules come in different sizes and we recommend to go with ‘size 00’. This size will fit about 1 ML liquid per empty cap. In our recipe we use a 1/4 cup cannabis oil, which is 60ml. Therefore, 60ml of cannabis oil will make 60 capsules.
Here is an example:
Example 1 (If your 1/4 cup (60ml) of cannabis oil contains a total of 600mg THC):
Divide 600mg THC with 60 capsules = 10mg THC per capsule.
Example 2 (If you use a 60ml CBD tincture that contains 300mg CBD)
Divide 300mg CBD with 60 capsules = 5mg CBD per capsule.
Now that you understand the dosing, enjoy our recipe for CBD capsules and full plant cannabis oil capsules.
To start, you will need either 60ml of CBD oil or homemade cannabis oil depending on your preference. Also, you will need to acquire empty capsules to make this recipe.
