Cannabis Golden Milk Recipe
Thanks to the ancient practice of Ayurveda, health and wellness enthusiasts everywhere recommend drinking golden milk daily for a wonderful, warm and healing drink that has loads of benefits.
The recipe calls for coconut milk, but you can sub in cannabis milk if you like – or any other milk that is soothing and gentle on your stomach.
Of course, we couldn’t leave out smoothies and what better way to welcome Spring (if it ever decides to show up) than with a fresh berry & superfoods smoothie?
Using CBD in this smoothie recipe will 100% give you a smooth taste and can help you feel better.
In addition to CBD being known as a master in reducing pain and aches in joints and muscles, it might also be a great help to your digestion.
And another bonus? It may help hormone levels (in a good way) due to CBD’s strong connection with endocannabinoids.
Endocannabinoids naturally already exist in our body – they’re like little receptors.
CBD molecules attach themselves to these receptors creating wellness effects that research has yet to catch up on!
Nothing warms up your insides like a nice hot bowl of soup, right?
But now add turmeric – a natural anti-inflammatory, carrots which are high in beta-carotene – good for healthy vision and immunity – and of course, the main star ingredient: Cannabis!
In a 6-quart pan, over medium high heat, add your normal butter and onions and cook, stirring often, until onions are limp. Add broth, carrots, and ginger. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until carrots are tender when pierced.
Add your cannabis butter.
Remove from heat and transfer to a blender. Don’t fill the blender more than half way, do it in batches if you have to. Pulse the blender to start it and then puree until smooth.
Return to the pan and add cream, stir over high heat until hot. For a smoother flavor bring soup to a boil, add salt and pepper, to taste.
With a dash of ginger (or more if you like it) this naturally immune-boosting, packed-with-vitamin-C smoothie is the perfect daily drink to get your body feeling its best!
