Easy Creamy Cannabis Pasta

If you’re looking for something super yummy and filling, then get your aprons on because today we’re making Easy Creamy Cannabis Pasta.

This dish is made with the simplest of ingredients – but it is oh-so-tasty nonetheless.

And we all know that when incorporating cannabis into our baked goods and meals, it just brings it all together for an unbelievable experience!


Ingredients Needed:

For today’s recipe, you might just have everything you need at home.

Here’s what you’re going to use:

  • red onion
  • your favourite pasta
  • cherry tomatoes
  • a container of garlic and herbs cream cheese
  • 2 chicken breasts with the bone
  • Cajun spice
  • garlic powder
  • cannabis butter or weed butter

How Do I Make Cannabutter?

Easy! Here’s our step-by-step recipe below for you.

I always suggest whipping up as many batches of cannabis butter at one time as you can.

Freeze it in ice cube trays, and that way you always have it on hand!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

Equipment

  • 8 x 8 inch oven dish / casserole dish
  • non stick skillet
  • Cutting Board
  • Sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 1 whole red onion chopped finely
  • 2 chicken breasts skinless, boneless
  • 5-6 tbsp cannabutter
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tsp freshly minced garlic
  • 1 container herb & garlic cream cheese
  • 1 pinch salt & pepper
  • 1 pkg pasta your favorite kind
  • 1 tsp Cajun spice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a casserole dish, pour whole cherry tomatoes, 3 tbsp cannabutter, red onion, salt & pepper, and an entire container of herb & garlic cream cheese. Cook at 325 F for around 15 minutes.
  • While that's baking, prepare grab your non stick skillet and warm to medium heat. Cut up your chicken breast into small cubes. Use remaining cannabutter, and add chicken to skillet and your Cajun and garlic spices. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked all the way through.
  • Cook your pasta according to package directions and strain.
  • Remove the casserole dish from oven, add in your chicken mixture, and pasta. Give it a good mix all the way through, serve and enjoy!
