Do you love pouring Kahlua over ice? In coffee? How about in martini glasses?
One of the best parts about colder weather is finding ways to stay warm (wink, wink) and this is one of my favorite ways!
Kahlua was first made in Mexico where sugar, rum, vanilla bean, and arabica coffee all made friends and created this spectacular drink.
The name comes from the Arabic language which is supposedly slang for coffee.
Did you know? It takes up to seven years to produce a bottle of Kahlua and then another year to distill the spirits in the coffee and infuse the flavors.
I guess the saying is true! “Good things come to those who wait!”
