Want to spice things up a bit in your Cannabis Kitchen? Today we’re making Chimichurri Cannabis Chicken.
If you’ve never made it before, but you’re intrigued because let’s face it, Chimichurri is so fun to say, then you might be interested to know that:
Chimichurri is an oil-based condiment made with fresh ingredients and the main one is oil. ( in today’s case: Cannabis oil)
According to Wikipedia, its origins come from Argentina, but along the way, this fresh condiment has picked up flavours and traditions from all around Central and South America.
I’ve enjoyed it in Mexico and Cuba – so it’s an expansive, well-known condiment that jazzes up any meat or meal you’re enjoying.
Is Chimichurri Spicy?
It doesn’t have to be if you don’t want it to be! Generally, it is, but you can add in habanero’s, chillis, or jalapenos to spice it up, or simply leave them out – the flavour profile is entirely up to you in terms of heat.
Where Did The Name Come From?
Legend has it that because there really wasn’t a method to its madness, Chimichurri loosely translated means: a mixture of several things in no particular order.
Doesn’t sound as sexy once you know that, BUT the flavour IS super sexy so let’s make it!
