My friends, you don’t always have to eat weed brownies to enjoy your weed! We always get asked the question: Can You Eat Healthy And Enjoy Cannabis Edibles?
The answer is a big, fat YES! You can enjoy infusions and healthy foods while consuming cannabis edibles without compromising your wellness.
Doesn’t that sound too good to be true? It really isn’t and I’ll show you how.
Healthy Cannabis Edible Recipes
Of course, brownies, cookies and cake are so addictive and comforting but you can switch it up and enjoy some fresh, healthy and lean recipes that incorporate weed.
Below are some of our best and healthiest suggested recipes to try.
1. Ugly Tomato & Cannabis Salad
Not everything healthy has to be a salad – but when it’s this tasty you might turn a new leaf!
Pour milk over shallots in a large bowl, then remove them and toss them in flour.Gently place them in oil heated to 350 degrees F, and fry in batches, and remove and place on a paper towel until all finished. Fry them for about 2 minutes until golden.
Sprinkle salt on top of the fried shallots then slice your tomatoes into thick slices. Drizzle your poppyseed dressing on a plate, and add your sliced tomatoes in a nice layer or line across. Salt them generously.
Next, chop fresh basil into small pieces, and sprinkle on top of tomatoes. Sprinkle & crumble Gorgonzola cheese on top of the tomatoes. Then sprinkle a healthy amount of your fried shallots on top, and drizzle with cannabis oil and some more poppyseed vinegarette! Serve immediately, and enjoy!
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the noodles until al dente, according to package directions. Drain and rinse briefly with cool water to remove the excess starch and stop the cooking, then transfer to a large serving bowl. Add the broccoli cole slaw and carrots.
While the pasta cooks, whisk together the cannabis oil, rice vinegar, honey, peanut butter, soy sauce, Sriarcha, ginger, and garlic. Pour over the noodle mixture and toss to combine. Add the peanuts and cilantro and toss once more. Serve chilled or at room temperature with additional Sriracha sauce as desired.
Bread is awesome- let’s just admit it and then move on. But what if you had a tasty edible sandwich that didn’t have bread, but still tasted darn good?
