Buffalo Cheese and Weed Butter French Fries

Craving something rich, packed with flavour and comforting? Then you’re in luck because today we are making Buffalo Cheese and Weed Butter French Fries.

The French wouldn’t likely approve of being the namesake of this ooey-gooey-carb-loaded dish BUT they may like how they feel afterward, so let’s dig in.

I love this recipe because it requires a bunch of dumping. I know that sounds horrible, so let me explain!

The ingredients in today’s recipe will simply take turns being dumped out into a 9 x 9 casserole dish and really all you need to do is put it in the oven.

What Ingredients Do I Need?

You’ll need to grab just a few things to make it “Buffalo”.

  • A large bag of your favourite frozen fries
  • A large block of Velveeta Cheese or similar
  • Buffalo wing sauce – any kind and make you like
  • Cannabutter (recipe below)
  • Green onion (fresh & chopped)
  • Bacon ( raw & chopped)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Blue cheese crumbles (large container)

How Do I Make Weed Butter?

Easy! Follow the recipe below if you haven’t already made it:

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

Buffalo Cheese and Weed Butter French Fries Recipe

This is by far the easiest recipe to make for a party, gathering, or friends evening in.

You can experiment by adding fresh tomatoes or sun-dried tomatoes, hot peppers, roasted peppers, and even some pre-cooked chicken slices to really make it taste great.

Equipment

  • 9 x 9 casserole dish (or larger)
  • Sharpo Knife
  • Cutting Board

Ingredients

  • 1 large block of Velveeta cheese or simillar whole, not cut or grated.
  • 1 cup cannabutter room temp, cut into slices
  • 1 large container of blue cheese crumbled
  • 1 bottle Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • 1 large bag of frozen fries Crinkle fries work great
  • 1 bunch green onion chopped finely
  • 1 package bacon chopped into small pieces

Instructions

  • Pre heat oven to 425 C
  • In the meantime, grab your casserole dish and place the block of Velveeta Cheese or similar right smack in the middle, and just leave it there.
  • Next, pour in your crinkle fries all around the cheese block.
  • Slice your rcannabutter into small pieces and sprinkle on top evenly.
  • Chop green onion and bacon and sprinkle over top.
  • Pour Buffalo sauce everywhere – about half a bottle.
  • Top with blue cheese.
  • Place it in the oven for around 30 minutes and check to make sure fries don't burn. Dig in immediately, and enjoy!
