In a heavy bottom saucepan, heat water over medium heat. Stir in the sugar, and melt until dissolved.
Increase heat, bring to a boil and stop stirring. The mixture should should turn amber in color.
Remove from heat slowly whisk in the heavy cream. The mixture will bubble up, so be cautious it’s very hot. Add the Canna-Butter, vanilla, and salt together and mix well.
Pour caramel sauce into a container with tight lid and refrigerate.
Preheat oven to 375° and grease a medium baking dish with cooking spray. In a small bowl, whisk together butter, brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon. Save 1 tbsp cannabis butter.
Slice the top off of each apple and de-cor the apple. Using a paring knife, make three circular cuts in apple. Place apple cut side-down on a cutting board and slice crosswise.
Place cut apples in a small baking dish. Melt cannabis butter in the microwave for about 20 seconds, and drizzle it on the top of each apple.. Bake until the apples are tender, about 30 minutes.
Serve with ice cream in the centre, and dip into caramel sauce!
