Quick, easy and super tasty – today we are making Better Than Banana Split Cake.

This cake is basically going to taste like a jacked-up banana split and then some. I can’t wait!

With the holidays being around the corner, I know you want to impress your guests with something fabulous, edible, and easy, right?

Slap on your aprons because we’re going to bake, and get baked!


What Ingredients Do I Need?

This recipe features very simple and easy ingredients – many of which you might already have in your pantry!

You could even save yourself a trip to the local grocers!

This recipes calls for the following:

  • Crushed pineapple chunks
  • Strawberry pie filling
  • 3 bananas
  • Chocolate chips
  • Vanilla cake mix
  • Cannabis butter

How Do I Make Cannabutter?

For anyone beginning on their cannabis culinary journey, you’ll need to master a few simple techniques – one of them is making cannabis butter.

Simply put: you can’t just sprinkle weed on top and call it a day. This will result in an unbalanced edible where the cannabis isn’t fully activated.

Trust me: you want to activate cannabis!

Here’s how:

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

Equipment

  • Large rectangular cake pan
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pinepples
  • 1 can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 bag walnuts or pecans you choose
  • 1 bag chocolate chips any kind you like
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks cannabis butter more if you like.

Instructions

  • Pre Heat Oven to 350
  • Add one can of crushed pineapple into your parchment paper line cake pan
  • Add an entire can of strawberry pie filling on top
  • 3 bananas – sliced thinly – place them on top
  • sprinkle walnuts and chocolate chips evenly over top
  • pour one box of vanilla cake mix evenly overtop of everything and DO NOT MIX.
  • slice cannabutter into thin slices, and place carefully on top of the mix. use as much as you need to cover the entire surface.
  • Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until sides and top are golden brown. Check with a toothpick to make sure cake doesn't come off on toothpick and you're good to go!
    Top with whipped cream, more nuts or anything you like!
