If you’re feeding a large batch of your buds this Christmas we have the Best Cheeseburger Cannabutter Casserole recipe ever!
Made with potatoes, hamburger, spices, cream of mushroom soup, tons of cheese and of course; cannabutter, this hearty and filling meal is the perfect choice for large gatherings.
One of the many things I love about this recipe, and other casseroles for that matter is the ease, convenience and longevity of it.
You can bake off a huge pan full and whatever isn’t finished can be portioned and frozen for weeks so you can enjoy it well into the future.
Now that’s my kinda weed edible!
Plus, with the busy festive season upon us, I really don’t want to spend extra time in the kitchen, do you?
What Ingredients Will I Need?
Like I said, simple and hearty – you’ll need a quick trip to the freezer or grocery store to grab everything you’ll need:
Ground beef
Cream of mushroom soup
Sharp cheddar cheese – or really any cheese you love
peppers and onions
mushrooms as an option too
cannabutter (recipe below)
cannabis oil (optional) or olive oil
salt, pepper, garlic salt, paprika
potatoes
You’ll need four cooking utensils: a 9×9 glass baking dish, a non-stick frying pan, a cutting board and a sharp knife.
How Do I Make Weed Butter?
Easy! We’ll show you how. If you’ve made cannabutter before, this might be a great little refresher and if you are a budding beginner, follow this step by step.
A recipe on how to make cannabis butter at home. After many cannabutter recipes, we find that this is by far the best way to infuse weed with butter.
Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
Cool down
Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.The video guide might be slightly different than the blog recipe. The blog recipe is the most updated and accurate.

Instructions
Pre heat oven to 350. Par boil potatoes, drain them and using a sharp knife, slice them into thin wheels.
Using butter or cooking spray, grease the 9×9 pan and layer the potoatoeson the bottom of the dish.
In a non stick pan with cannabis oil or olive oil, fry beef until no longer pink, add in all spices.
Add in mushroom soup and then turn off heat, stir it up. Pour over the potatoes in the pan, add shredded cheese, and melt cannabutter and pour that overtop.
Bake for 30 minutes. Slice into squares and enjoy!
