Brrr.. it’s so cold outside and it’s the perfect time of year to enjoy the very Best Cannabis-Infused Hot Beverages!
Whether you’re a coffee consumer or a tea drinker, I’ve got the bestest of the best recipes for you to try out and stay warm.
What I love about these hot drink options is that they are a quick, satisfying and dare I say seductive way to enjoy cannabis any time of day and year.
1. Cannabis-Infused Coffee
Who says coffee can’t cure-all?
They say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away but a cannabis coffee a day keeps depression away – for me that is.
Cannabis has been known to help increase and elevate mood, and help fight signs of depression and anxiety.
A daily boost of wellness never hurts anyone, and having a nice hot and fresh cup of coffee will be your next favourite go-to.
Wake up to a fresh weed infused coffee and medicate without breaking your morning routine.
If you ask me, I believe that the Queen knows what she’s doing so I’ll just follow suit when it comes to tea time, and I think it’s about ‘high’ time for a nice hot cup of cannabis tea, isn’t it?
Check out this recipe below, and pair it with a biscuit that’s meant for dipping while you warm up from the inside out.
Soothing and Satisfying – nothing beats a hot cup of tea!
In a medium saucepan, combine milk or a non-dairy alternative, cannamilk, and Nutella. Set the stove on medium heat and whisk vigorously until the liquid is steaming and hot but not boiling. Once it reaches this point, remove from the heat.
Pour the hot cocoa in mugs and top the cups off with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate syrup drizzle and hazelnuts for an added garnish.
Add the cinnamon sticks, apple slices and cloves in the cooker with the apple cider.
Dump the remaining spices into the middle of a sheet of cheesecloth, use an elastic to envelop the spices so that they can't escape!
Drop the cheesecloth spice bag into the slow cooker and set it to medium heat.
Once the liquid reaches a boil you can mix the tincture and brown sugar together in a separate bowl, then add it to the mixture.
Cook all the ingredients together in the slow cooker for one-two hours.
Remove the cheesecloth spices package from the liquid and gently squeeze out the liquid before tossing it into the trash.
Set the slow cooker to its lowest setting to keep the freshly made apple cider steaming hot and ready to enjoy for the rest of the day, and remember – the rule with weed edibles is low and slow, and wait 2 hours in between!
