This creamy, salty and smooth pub-style Beer, Cheese & Cannabis Dip is an easy crowd-pleaser that’s ready in 15 minutes flat!

Flavoured with lager-style beer, garlic, smoked paprika, and cheddar cheese, this robust dip is super flavourful and goes excellent with soft pretzels, pitas, or veggies.

Tell Me More About This Dip

  1. Cannabutter – you’ll melt a few tablespoons of weed butter to begin. Salted or unsalted, and it can come right from the fridge – no need to soften it.
  2. Flour – soaks up the butter, and creates a nice thick paste which is the base.
  3. Milk – smooths everything out beautifully
  4. Beer – try a nice lager or any beer you like!
  5. Worcestershire Sauce – adds a deep and unbeatable taste.
  6. Dijon Mustard – don’t skip it! It makes the whole dip come together.
  7. Garlic Powder, Smoked Paprika, Salt – all for the flavour profile.
  8. Fresh Cheddar Cheese – shredded.

A recipe on how to make cannabis butter at home. After many cannabutter recipes, we find that this is by far the best way to infuse weed with butter.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

  • Whisk

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp cannabutter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup beer
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • First, make sure your cheddar cheese is shreded and ready to go.
  • Melt the cannabutter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk together until a thick and clumpy paste forms, about 1 minute.In a slow and steady stream, whisk in the milk. After it’s all added, continue whisking until it slightly thickens, about 1 minute.
    One at a time, whisk in the remaining ingredients.
  • Remove the cheese dip from heat and pour into a serving dish. Sprinkle with extra cheese, if desired.
