Cannabutter, a butter-based cooking staple, is one of the most important ingredients in our arsenal for this recipe.
It also turns out to be amazingly easy to make!
In this recipe for tres leches strawberry cake with cannabutter, I start with a simple boxed cake and sub in bud butter to make it weed-tastic!
This recipe also combines some of my favourite flavours: freshly picked strawberries, cannabis and a bunch of different, sweet tasting kinds of milk – hence the name: tres leches!

The origin of tres leches cake is debatable – many claim it’s Mexican, while others swear it’s from Nicaragua or Cuba.
Regardless of where it came from, it’s one of the tastiest and easiest cakes to make!
