Rule # 1: Your pet cannot consume THC edibles!

This is the most important rule for giving a weed edible to your animals. See, our fuzzy companions cannot tolerate the elevating properties of THC. Unfortunately, domesticated animals could experience a pretty bad reaction from this cannabis compound.

From nausea to disorientation, pets cannot tolerate THC. In fact, if you’re wondering, “What do I do if my pet gets into my weed edibles?” the answer is, act quickly. We recommend that you call a veterinarian, and seek help immediately.

In turn, it is important to store your weed edibles far away from pets. Keep your cannabis edibles in a sealed container that is well away from a curious cutie. Always mark your cannabis edible container so that it is abundantly clear what’s inside. This way, no one will accidentally give your pet a weed infused treat.

Rule # 2: Only give your animals CBD oil for pets.

You may think that regular CBD oil is suitable for animals. Well, this may not be the case. Some forms of CBD oil contain trace amounts of THC. Because of this contamination, your pets cannot consume regular CBD oil.

In addition, CBD is often added to a cannabis cooking oil for easy dosing. Sadly, there are some common CBD oils that animals cannot withstand. From avocado oil, to cinnamon flavored CBD oil, there are quite a few CBD oils that can harm your pets.

It is very important to find CBD for pets that is safe and trustworthy. Make sure that you are buying the best CBD oil for animals from a registered company. Further to this, it is important to ensure that you are administering the correct dose of CBD for your animals. Follow the instructions to the letter, and never increase this amount without a veterinary consultation.

Rule # 3: Be sure to research where to buy CBD pet treats!

If you do not know exactly where to buy CBD pet edibles, it is important that you do your research. Learn as much as you can about your CBD for pets before making a regretful purchase. It is important to source a known cannabis pet food distributer that is licenced.

Just like CBD oil for pet animals, you must fully understand what is going into your little one’s consumables. If your pet is sensitive to any particular foods, or if they are allergic to anything, make sure that these weed pet foods won’t make them sick.

Rule # 4: Only give your buddy the suggested CBD dose for pets.

Of course, we all want to spoil our precious friends. However, it is important that you don’t give your pets too many CBD treats. Read the packing for their cannabis pet treat and do not overdo it.

Hopefully, this pet food with CBD will leave them wanting more. Just make sure that you follow the instructions. Remember, these little guys are a lot smaller than your average Joe. That means that they may not tolerate increasing the CBD dose as much as we do.

Be sure to regulate how many cannabis animal treats that your pets are consuming. Furthermore, let everyone know how much of their allotment they have already received. This way, they do not run the risk of being given too many weed pet treats by mistake.

Rule # 5: Keep out of reach of fur babies!

Does your pet get into everything? These little scavengers can be pretty crafty when there’s a tasty smelling treat in the vicinity. This is why it’s important to keep your pet treats with weed far away from your fur children.

Although we haven’t heard of a CBD poisoning in pets, why run the risk? Besides, too much of a good thing never seems to go over well. When pets overeat just about anything, it doesn’t seem to bode well. Take the extra precautions and keep your pets safe, happy, and healthy.
