Sponge Toffee With Cannabis Sugar

Crispy-Crunchy Toffee made with cannabis sugar!

Equipment

  • Large, deep cake pan
  • Parchment Paper
  • Sauce pan
  • Whisk
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup cannabis sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 120 ml water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips melted in the microwave - SAVE this step until the end!

Instructions

  • Over medium heat on the stove, add Cannabis Sugar, honey, water and bring to a boil until it's amber in colour.
  • Add in baking soda, and quickly whisk until it's doubled (at least) in size
  • Quickly pour into your parchment paper lined pan
  • Allow to cool at room temp until it's hard and crunchy
  • Melt chocolate in the microwave (melt chocolate chips in a bowl at 20 second increments, sitrring between each time)
  • Break apart pieces and dip them in the warm melted chocolate. Sprinkle chopped nuts or coconut, sprinkles,etc and enjoy!
